Member Bio:
Born on September 2, 2016 in the northern hills of Pittsburgh, Pennslyvania, by a group of men and women hailing from the states of Pennslyvania, California and Connecticut, the Yinzer MOB is more that a tailgate, it's grown into a full blown movement. With Chapters dotted throughout the continental United States, Yinzer MOB loyalty extends beyond the magical valley where three rivers converge.  Part of a group of NFL fans who notriouosly travel well to away games, Yinzer MOB members appear to pop up everywhere the black and gold Steeler Nation make their temporary home.  It's nearly impossiblel to gage the MEGA-following this tailgate crew has accumulated, but their influence is clearly seen on social media and on gamedays throughout the country as Yinzer MOB Merch is almost as popular as the Terrible Towel itself.

The definition of the term "Yinzer" summarizes this movement best.

A provincial, typically residing in the western half of Pennsylvania (USA), who strongly identifies with the nearby city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, often due to a fervent, pseudo-religious loyalty toward one or more professional sports teams headquartered therein. "Yinzers" are so called because they speak a regional dialect of American English featuring the use of "yinz" or "yunz" as the second-person plural pronoun. Yinzers are the subject of a number of stereotypes, some of which they are actively proud of and consciously reinforce to strengthen their sense of identity, an example being their use of French fries as a condiment.
