Member Bio:
Ken Castaneda (Bronco Ken), Catherine Highland (Bronco Babe), and Rob Garner (Rescue Rob) met in New York during the week of Super Bowl 48. While in New York, we really hit it off and became friends. Upon returning to Denver, we kept in contact and saw each other on game day. We had all been tailgating in our own groups for many years. At the start of the 2015 season, we decided to start a tailgate together and Fired Up Tailgate was born.

Fired Up Tailgate is the premier tailgate party on Broncos game day. We are focused on “Tailgating for the Community”. Fired Up is the largest game day tailgate party in Denver with the sole purpose of providing a pregame experience second to none and, at the same time, providing an opportunity for fans to give back to the community. We have worked with many organizations in an attempt to bring awareness to various causes; Ronald McDonald House, Wounded Warriors, Type-1 Diabetes awareness and Hope Kids to name a few.

Gameday Spread:
Typically, starting 6 hours before kickoff, the deep fryer and grill are fired up. Gourmet food is on the menu. Polidori sausage is a proud sponsor and supplies us with different varieties of sausages. Red Bird Farms, also a proud sponsor, supplies us with chicken for “Memaw’s Fried Chicken”.   Jalapeno shrimp poppers and corn dogs are also game day staples. We incorporate a dish from the city of the opposing team each and every game day as well. Spring 44 Distillery, another proud sponsor, located in Loveland, Colorado sponsors the “Game Day Cocktail”, a specialty drink featuring their products.

At Fired Up Tailgate, you will find amazing food, great people, the opportunity to sample local food and drink and, at the same time, an opportunity to give back. It’s a win-win.
