THOF Spotlight: Kimmy “100% Cheezy” Jasinski – A Fan of Fans and Builder of Bridges

Dec 2, 2025

Nestled among the pines of northern Minnesota sits a small farmhouse that’s slowly becoming a dream home. The place has the charm of a storybook cabin in the woods, with a gentle brook that winds through the property—Larry and Kimmy Jasinski call it “Maw Falls.” Together, the couple has spent the last several years turning this quiet piece of land into a place where friends gather for bonfires, cookouts, and homegating parties that feel like family reunions. The house, a remodeled ranch on seventeen acres, is still a work in progress, but its spirit already matches the people who live there—welcoming, vibrant, and full of heart.

For Kimmy, the laughter around the deck and the ongoing projects in their workshop are just part of the story. She’s also a proud mother of three daughters, all of whom share their dad’s devotion to the Minnesota Vikings—a fact that keeps Sundays full of good-natured rivalry and plenty of family banter. On gameday, the calm of the countryside gives way to something a little louder. That’s when Kimmy transforms into her alter ego, 100% Cheezy, a larger-than-life Green Bay Packers fan marooned deep in Viking territory.

The name, she explains, was born out of playful rivalry. Minnesota Vikings superfan Syd Davy, known as “100% Cheese Free,” inspired her to create a response. With encouragement from her friend Diggz Garza, Kimmy leaned into the fun, becoming 100% Cheezy, a persona that celebrates both her team and her belief that rival fans can find common ground. What started as a lighthearted jab quickly became her identity in the tailgating world—a symbol of good sportsmanship and unity.

Her outfit completes the transformation. The iconic foam wedge on her head was crafted by Jeff Kahlow, the “Frozen Tundra Man,” with “100%” on one side and “Cheezy” on the other. She wears custom shoes in Green Bay Packers green, yellow, and white, a sparkling rhinestone jersey bearing the number 77, and her signature “100% Cheezy” necklace. Her first jersey was a homemade creation by her husband, who ironed her name across the back. These days, she’s added her Tailgating Hall of Fame challenge coin to her gameday essentials, a token that connects her to fellow fans across the league.

Living in Minnesota as a Green Bay fan hasn’t always been easy, but Kimmy has found a way to thrive. Married for more than 26 years to Larry, a proud member of the Viking World Order and owner of the Purple Pride tailgate truck, the two have become an unlikely symbol of unity in a world of team colors and friendly rivalries. “Everyone cracks up to see a Packer fan riding in the front seat of that truck,” she laughs. But behind the humor is something deeper. Kimmy’s approach to fandom is about kindness, inclusion, and respect. She’s a fan who cheers loud but never tears others down.

That spirit led her to create the GWO—short for “Great With Others.” The organization began as a playful response to the Viking World Order but quickly took on a mission of its own. The GWO celebrates all NFC North fanbases and promotes an anti-bullying message within the tailgating community. “I wanted to stand against the idea of fans mocking other fans,” Kimmy explains. “It started as a joke, but it became a sign of unity.”

Select members of the GWO receive a “cheese name” from its founder when inducted—her husband Larry became “Velveeta Cheeze” because he’s her smooth and creamy, while Diggz earned the name “Singlez” after the individually wrapped slices. These nicknames may sound silly, but they represent something real: connection, friendship, and belonging. The GWO’s logo tells the story best—the “G” from the Green Bay Packers helmet, the “W” from the center of the Viking World Order logo, and an “O” shaped like a peace sign, composed of the colors orange and Honolulu blue to honor the Lions and Bears. The message is clear: peace among fans, even rivals.

Kimmy takes pride in seeing GWO patches appear on jerseys across parking lots throughout the league. “I love seeing something I’m part of floating around out there,” she says. “It’s a symbol of positivity.” Her goal was simple—to prove that you can be a passionate fan and still respect everyone else who loves the game just as much.

At the heart of her fandom is a sense of hospitality. Kimmy loves to entertain, and her creativity extends into her tailgating traditions. One of her proudest inventions is the “Nortski,” a shotski decorated with all four NFC North teams. Her signature drink is a caramel apple shot—a mix of apple pucker and butterscotch schnapps—and on special occasions, she adds shots of Grandma Lambeau’s Lot 1 from her friends in Green Bay. These gestures aren’t just about drinks; they’re about creating moments where rival fans share a laugh and a toast together.

That same energy defines her connection to the Tailgating Hall of Fame. “Being part of the THOF means the world to me,” Kimmy says. “It’s about family. It’s about bringing fans together and being true to who you are.” She proudly carries her THOF coin wherever she goes, using it to find fellow members and connect instantly with good people in new places. She and her husband even learned the THOF fight song in just five hours—proof of how deeply she believes in the community it represents.

Now, Kimmy is channeling that same passion into a new mission: What’s Up Your FANny?, a charitable organization she’s launching with fellow fan Timmy Meyer to promote colon cancer awareness. The slogan, cheeky and memorable, carries a serious purpose. The charity’s goal is to raise funds for colon cancer screening, research, and education while supporting youth programs like the J. Babe Stearn Community Center in Canton, Ohio, and the West Side Boys and Girls Club in Minnesota.

The cause is deeply personal. Kimmy’s mother has battled—and beaten—three forms of cancer, including colon cancer. “She’s my motivation,” Kimmy says proudly. “She’s the strongest woman I know.” Inspired by her mother’s resilience and by the charitable efforts she’s witnessed through the THOF community, Kimmy wants to give back in her own way. The organization plans to sell What’s Up Your FANny? merchandise including koozies, patches, and clear NFL-approved fanny packs—to fund their mission and raise awareness.

From remodeling a home with her soulmate to transforming herself into one of the NFL’s most recognizable superfans, Kimmy “100% Cheezy” Jasinski embodies what the Tailgating Hall of Fame stands for: passion, creativity, and heart. Her laughter fills the parking lot just like the sound of that brook outside her farmhouse. And whether she’s in the frozen tundra, the tailgate lots of Minneapolis, or hosting a homegating party back at Maw Falls, Kimmy reminds us that fandom isn’t about rivalry—it’s about relationships.

She’s more than 100% Cheezy. She’s 100% heart.
