Learn More About Our Tailgate

‘Nuff Said Tailgaters are more than just a pre-game gathering—they’ve transformed the NRG Blue Lot into a celebration of Texas hospitality, community, and sheer game-day joy. What began in 2012 as a modest setup—just two friends and a small 7”x12” barbecue pit—has grown into a vibrant crew of 50 to 60 tailgaters each Sunday. With multiple Texans-themed rigs, including a vintage 1959 fire truck outfitted with a margarita machine, satellite TV, a DJ booth, and the infamous shot machine, ‘Nuff Said has matured into one of the most spirited and inclusive tailgates in Houston.

On game day, families arrive early to stake their spots and get the festivities rolling. Conversations bounce from Texans strategy to community updates, punctuated by laughter and the occasional sip of the signature frozen creamsicle—on-brand, refreshing, and totally Texan. Music drifts across the lot, courtesy of a live DJ mixing upbeat tracks with crowd favorites. By the time kickoff nears, the fire truck stands as a beacon of celebration, its hoses replaced by margarita dispensers, while the shot machine delivers rapid-fire goodwill across friends and newcomers alike. Whether you’ve come solo, in opposing team colors, or with the kids in tow, the only expectation at ‘Nuff Said is to enjoy yourself.

What truly sets ‘Nuff Said apart is their ethos. With just three rules—No Drama. Have Fun. Everybody is Welcome—they’ve built an environment where tailgating becomes a collective experience, not just a party. Think of it as a neighborhood block party where the neighbors just happen to share football in common. Their outreach extends off-game-day too: whether participating in charity events, community parades, or inviting visiting fans into their lot, they continually reinforce the sense that tailgating, at its best, is the last great American neighborhood.

If you’re at NRG on game day and hear the hum of laughter and music from Blue Lot 20, make your way over. You’ll find a circle of warm greetings, refreshing drinks, a spontaneous high-five or two, and stories being passed around like prized tailgate recipes. It’s not just a tailgate—it’s a community experience, a spirited celebration of fandom, and a shining example of what makes Texans gameday special.
