Learn More About Our Tailgate
On gamedays in Cincinnati, just a short walk from Paycor Stadium, the thunder of bass, the scent of sizzling grills, and the sight of orange and black flags waving proudly in the breeze signal one thing—the Bengal Bomb Squad West is in session. Tucked behind the railroad tracks at Longworth Hall, this tailgate is a legendary destination for diehard Bengals fans and traveling football faithful alike. Since 2001, what started as a spontaneous idea between a father and son has evolved into one of the most welcoming and electric tailgates in the NFL.
The story begins with Ray Neace, a Bengals season ticket holder for over three decades, and his son Chris “Ace Raison” Neace. Tired of the pregame routine at the local sub shop, the two met up before a home game to try something new—tailgating. One party led to another, and before long they were joined by Greg “Quiet Storm” Ivey, whose massive sound system would become a defining part of their setup. With the help of longtime friends Radar, Keith, and Shane, the crew laid the foundation for a party that would only grow louder, friendlier, and more flavorful with each passing season.
The Bengal Bomb Squad West embodies everything that makes Cincinnati tailgating special. The crowd can range from 50 to over 100 fans, including lifelong locals, visiting fanbases, and NFL nomads who’ve heard about this must-visit stop in the Queen City. Whether you’re donning stripes or another team’s colors, you’re greeted like family. It’s a no-drama, good-vibes-only kind of party—built on sportsmanship, camaraderie, and a shared love for the game.
Fueling the party is their signature cocktail, the legendary Bengal Bomb—a potent and playful mix of Jägermeister and Sunkist soda that hits just the right notes before kickoff. Local brews from Rhinegeist and the iconic Hudepohl ("Hu-Dey!") also flow freely, and you’ll find plenty of delicious tailgate fare served up from folding tables and smoking grills. From wings to chili to homemade sides, there's always more than enough to go around.
In 2016, after years of bonding with the original Bengal Bomb Squad, the Longworth crew was honored to officially take on the name Bengal Bomb Squad West. It was a natural extension of their inclusive, fan-forward approach. They've since flown the flag proudly, representing not just the Bengals, but the spirit of Cincinnati hospitality. Their lot is a crossroads for fans of all stripes—welcoming folks from across the league, from Canada to California.
If you’re in town on gameday and looking for a tailgate that feels like home—look for the booming speakers, the waving banners, and the crowd behind the tracks at Longworth Hall. Introduce yourself. Try a Bengal Bomb. And get ready to experience one of the most authentic tailgates in all of Who Dey Nation.
