Blacktop Culinarians Unite!

Big Cats Tailgating began as a group of friends that love our Jaguars!
We pretty much all started out at different locations, then eventually
came together at Tailgaters parking lot in Jacksonville. We preferred
parking there as opposed to the parking right around stadium, as those
are all first come first serve, parking spots that are not guaranteed
from week to week, and located on concrete. Here in FL that is a huge
deal!
At Tailgaters parking, we have a tree we watched grow up and our usual
gang is about six car loads. We always welcome others to join. Our group
has become good friends with our common interest of the game, good food,
and of course, cocktails.
We are very welcoming to anyone that wants to join us as long as you
aren’t just there to trash talk! Our group likes to try to figure
out what each city is known for and we get everyone to bring something
representing that city. Once a year we usually do a big Lo Country Boil
where my husband and I round up all the goodness to boil up and everyone
chips in with the cost. We love to use our seasoning from New Orleans,
including Slap Ya Mama spices. Don’t fear the spice!
We also have a post game tailgate. After the game we break out the grill
and usually cook hot dogs or brats and talk about the great game while
we let the traffic die down.
